Yasaka- the best place to experience the changing seasons of Kyoto. Hotel Yuraku is conviently situated close to the bustling heart of the city, with Yasaka Shrine, Kodai-ji Temple, Gion, and many other major landmarks in walking distance. For the weary traveler, yuraku gives guests a place to find respite and to recharge after busy days of sightseeing. Enjoy the warm and comforting atmosphere of a traditional Japanese-style ryokan.
Our thirteen guest rooms (all non-smoking) feature luxurious, deep baths in the best style for you; some are open-air baths on a terrace, some are partial open-air with double-lattice windows, and others are spacious indoor baths. Soak away the weariness of travel while listening to the Kyoto breeze as it sways through the trees.
In our guest-only living and dining space , you can enjoy complimentary coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and sweets as well as enjoy alcoholic beverages (charges apply). Japanese-style breakfast is also available here (charges apply, advanced reservations only).

Yuraku's signature egg porridge made with free-range eggs also has a gentle flavor that will energize you for the day ahead.

When you arrive at Yuraku, leave your luggage for us to take care of and take a break in our café lounge. The area above the entry step is guest space. Our staff will guide you.
